Received a message from Anita stating my animal was ready for pick up, needed freezer space, to please pick up asap and to bring $65 cash. When I called to clarify, she was immediately hostile. I asked what a skinning charge meant because when going over the paper work when the clerk got to "skinning" we said "no, we don't want the hide" She replied "ok" with no further clarification or explanation of a $25 skinning fee. Anita explained that she has employees payrolls to cover a $1,000 freezer and brought up that she was the cheapest processor in the area and everyone charges a skinning fee. In the 20 years of going to processors, I have never heard of this and this service is included in the deposit to prepare the deer for processing... She continued with bringing up and putting down other businesses "within a 50 mile radius" including one that is no longer processing. She hung up on me and when I tried to call her back 3 other times, she would deny my calls. When I got there to pick up, the ground meat was frozen solid and the steaks and roasts were barely cold. I found this odd but couldn't get her back on the phone to figure out why if each individual deer is processed one at a time, like she stated on the phone, why some meat was frozen and why some was barely cold. This was the most unprofessional, outrageous encounter I have had with a business owner and would not recommend this business.

Anita and her crew did an outstanding job!! The processing was just as promised , timely, and first class. Let me tell you the jalapeño/cheese summer sausage is killer!!!! Check them out!!

Everyone here is very friendly and easy to work with. Excellent turn around of one week for my buck and I have so far been happy with the product. Will be going back for sure.

Have not picked my meat up but Anita was awesome to work with was my first buck ever and she helped me through the process with a lot of patience this is where I will do all my deer processing
